Drinking water will help to keep you hydrated and it is especially important to make sure you drink plenty when the weather is warmer.  

Remaining hydrated will boost your energy, yes hydration does help with energy, helps your mood and enhances your productivity making it easier to chunk down your to-do list.

You may love water and have no problem drinking up your 2 litres each day.  On the other hand you may find it boring and long for more flavour.
