Recipe Of The Week - Homemade Seeded Crackers



These crackers are a brilliant snack to make for days when you know you will have no time to stop and take a breather. These can be easily carried and stored at your convenience.

Serves 6                                                                                                                             


  • 210g sunflower seeds
  • 75g linseed
  • 85g raw buckwheat
  • 40g chia seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 350ml warm water


  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl, stirring occasionally for approximately 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed
  2. Preheat oven 140C fan. Line 2 baking sheets. Press the mixture firmly into a thin layer on both baking sheets, ensuring there are no gaps
  3. Bake for approximately 1 hour or until golden and crisp
  4. Remove from the oven and leave to cool before breaking into large pieces
