Essential Steps to Health and Wellbeing

  1. Drink: 1.5 – 2 litres of water each day
  2. Eat regularly: 3 meals and 2 snacks each day is great
  3. Sleep: Get plenty of sleep at least 7 – 10 hours each night, this will help you to feel energised and reduce any stress you may be feeling.
  4. Drink: A maximum of 4 cups of tea or coffee each day
  5. Eat breakfast: Make time for a healthy breakfast – it will kick start your energy and fuel you up for the day
  6. Avoid processed foods: Cakes, sweets, chocolate, biscuits, energy bars, fizzy drinks…
  7. Alcohol: As a maximum, follow the governments recommended limit of 14 units per week for both men and women
  8. On the road: Pack your lunch, snacks and water in an insulated pack and store it in the boot of your car
  9. Encourage organisation: Plan and prepare ahead to ensure you have all you need for the day- snacks, lunch and drinks
  10. Eat ╩╗real╩╝ food: Eat food that grows, has two legs, four legs, flies or swims
